AT A GLANCE

Your systems. Clear ownership and renewals.

The client ordinarily funds and owns hosting and related accounts. Agency-procured or managed infrastructure attracts agreed setup or monthly fees. Unpaid renewals can disrupt service.

Policies & support

Policy in detail

Everything in one place.

01. Client-funded hosting and ownership

We recommend clients purchase their own domain, hosting, VPS/cloud server, VPN, databases and third-party SaaS licenses in a client-controlled account. Where the client buys directly, supplier contracts and renewal duties remain with the client.

02. Procurement by ShopWordWeb Solutions

At the client’s request, we may assist with purchase, configuration, administration and billing of authorized external services. Supplier fees, setup, migration, dedicated management, monitoring, backup and monthly renewals may be charged separately from development. This should be agreed in writing in advance.

03. Advance renewals and payment delays

Recurring infrastructure or support is payable before the relevant period. If the client misses a renewal or invoice deadline, upstream hosting may be restricted. After appropriate notice under applicable terms and law, we may pause managed services until renewal and any agreed restoration costs are settled.

04. Backups and recovery limitations

Backup frequency, backup destinations, retention, disaster recovery, migration assistance and restoration times depend on the purchased plan and written support scope. They are not automatically included with every website or automation build. Clients should keep independent copies of critical business data where appropriate.

05. Access control, security and providers

We recommend MFA, minimum-necessary credentials, separate staff roles and timely security patches. Third-party provider outages, policy changes, bandwidth/storage charges and external account enforcement are not controlled by our agency.

06. Handover and termination

Handover, access transfers, source deliverables and data exports follow the accepted agreement, verified authority, payment settlement, licensing and applicable law. Cancellation of management does not automatically cancel an independent provider’s billing.

07. Questions and disputes

For hosting renewals and operational service requests use contact@shopwordweb.com. For legal questions or formal complaints use legal@shopwardweb.com (dedicated legal mailbox; activation pending) or contact@shopwordweb.com for a currently established contact route..
