Clear terms for serious digital work.

Scope is confirmed in writing. Work begins after 100% advance for the approved phase. Hosting and third-party purchases are funded separately, and delivery follows agreed acceptance criteria.

Policies & support

Policy in detail

Everything in one place.

01. Scope and acceptance

An accepted proposal, quotation, statement of work or mutually agreed contract sets the deliverables, specifications, milestones, dependencies, timeline, fees and acceptance criteria. Public demos are illustrative and not binding promises of full product functionality.

02. Advance payment and milestones

The standard model requires 100% advance payment for the approved project or milestone before work begins. Large projects can be split into separately agreed advance-paid phases; we do not ordinarily provide 50/50 or 70/30 deferred payment terms. The signed project agreement prevails where it explicitly varies this policy.

03. Non-refundable commenced work

Started project phases and resources allocated to an approved phase are ordinarily non-refundable, subject to mandatory rights and any written defect, non-performance or other remedy terms. Review our Refund & Cancellation Policy before engagement.

04. Project inputs and schedule

The client is responsible for timely, accurate branding assets, domain/hosting access, lawful content, product data, approvals and technical requirements. Scope change requests, new functionality or integration changes may require a revised quotation, advance payment and adjusted timeline.

05. Hosting, servers, licenses and third parties

Unless a proposal says otherwise, domain registration, hosting, VPS, VPN, databases, cloud bills, messaging costs, paid software, seller accounts, advertising spend, and related licenses are funded by the client. We can help buy or manage these services on behalf of a client under separately agreed recurring charges.

06. Renewals, unpaid invoices and suspension

Recurring services require timely payment before renewal. After appropriate notice and consistent with contracts and applicable law, we may suspend or restrict managed services for non-payment, policy misuse or security issues. Restoration can require settlement and supplier reactivation fees.

07. Accounts, privacy and access

Clients must own or authorize all supplied accounts, content and data, protect their credentials and use appropriate staff permissions. Client information is handled according to the Privacy Policy and applicable service agreements. We do not request OTPs in public forms.

08. Deliverable rights and handover

Custom deliverable rights, licensed software, source code, assets, handover and transfers are determined by the signed agreement, payment status, applicable law and third-party licenses. Our pre-existing reusable tools and methods remain separately owned unless explicitly assigned.

09. Third-party outcomes and service limits

Search rankings, ad account approval, marketplace eligibility, sales, revenue, platform uptime and provider policies depend on factors outside our control. No guarantee of specific commercial results is implied without an express written commitment.

10. Support, warranties and remedies

The agreed scope defines post-launch support, revision windows, maintenance, response times, acceptance testing, fixes and remedies. Obligations under applicable law remain unaffected where waiver is prohibited.

11. Governing law and disputes

The agreement is interpreted under applicable Indian law, subject to mandatory protections and agreed dispute procedures. For questions, notices or service disputes contact legal@shopwardweb.com (dedicated legal mailbox; activation pending) or contact@shopwordweb.com for a currently established contact route..

Effective 19 October 2026. These pages describe general website and service policies. An accepted signed client agreement and non-waivable rights under applicable law take precedence. For legal interpretation, independent professional advice may be appropriate.
