Clear payment rules. No hidden assumptions.

Standard projects: 100% advance before a phase starts. Large projects: each accepted milestone is prepaid. Work already commenced is ordinarily non-refundable, subject to written agreements and mandatory law.

Policies & support

Policy in detail

Everything in one place.

01. Our standard payment model — 100% in advance

All agreed development, branding, design, marketing or automation phases are payable in full before we begin work for that phase. We do not ordinarily offer 50/50 or 70/30 deferred-payment arrangements. An agreement signed by both parties may explicitly provide a different model.

02. Large projects and milestones

A large project may be divided into clearly documented discovery, design, development, integration, testing, deployment or operational milestones. The client pays 100% of each specific approved milestone before that milestone starts; no unpaid next phase begins by default. A milestone is not a blanket promise of progress unless its deliverables are defined in the agreement.

03. When fees become non-refundable

Once an accepted service or milestone has started—including time spent on discovery, planning, project setup, design, research, development, staff allocation or automation configuration—fees paid for that phase are ordinarily non-refundable. This policy is not intended to override remedies that cannot legally be excluded.

04. Cancellation before work begins

Please request cancellation in writing immediately. If the agreed phase has not started and no irreversible obligations have been incurred, we will review the project agreement, payment charges and actual third-party commitments. Any eligible refund, credit or settlement is determined under the signed terms and applicable law, not assumed automatic.

05. Third-party and external purchases

Domains, hosting, VPS/VPN, cloud services, licenses, platform subscriptions, app-store fees, advertising budgets, SMS/WhatsApp fees and external vendor purchases may be non-refundable under the supplier’s policies. Charges already incurred for such purchases are not treated as unused agency development fees.

06. Scope changes, delays and cancellations

Additional work, revised designs, expanded functionality or new integrations are priced and approved separately before commencement. Client delays do not by themselves create a right to refund completed or started work. If an upcoming phase has not begun, the parties may agree in writing to pause it subject to existing commitments.

07. Quality concerns and dispute review

If deliverables materially differ from an accepted written scope, send a detailed description and evidence. We will review the issue against the agreed acceptance criteria, defects/remediation terms and legal obligations. A policy statement about non-refundability does not eliminate statutory rights to lawful remedies.

08. Recurring subscriptions and renewals

Recurring hosting, server, maintenance, managed automation and other plans are billed in advance according to agreed billing cycles. Failure to renew can lead to suspension after appropriate notice; already incurred infrastructure fees may not be refundable. See the Hosting & Renewals Policy.

09. How to request an adjustment or cancellation

Send the project identifier, invoice reference, payment date, current milestone and the reason for your request to legal@shopwardweb.com (dedicated legal mailbox; activation pending) or contact@shopwordweb.com for a currently established contact route.. Do not send card numbers or account passwords. We will assess the relevant agreement and applicable law.
